No fridge deserves to be without one of our Famous Award Winning Pies.  The pastry is sold unfired making the finished product a lovely freshly baked pastry.


This is our signature steak pie and has won so many awards. Our meat is cooked for at least 8 hours,  overnight to ensure tenderness and flavour. The buttery puff pastry is a bonus as it rise as big as a book which gives you extra flaky golden pastry.  We cannot say enough about this delicious traditional dish and is evident in the huge sales we have for these pies.

Small size: 550g. (Serves 2-3)

Medium size: 1Kg. (Serves 3-4)

Unfired Crombies Steak Pie

  • Partially frozen when purchased. Keep chilled and use within “use by date”. Do not re-freeze.

    To Cook: Remove wrapping, then remove pastry lid and place foil ashet in the oven @ 180C for 25 minutes, Remove and stir thoroughly. Add 15 minutes if frozen at start. Then:- [Option 1] – Secure pastry to the top of the pie and return to the oven for a further 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and pie thoroughly cooked. [Option 2] – Return pie to oven and bake the pastry on a separate baking tray for a further 20 minutes as above. This will give a much higher pastry.
